When the parents of a child are never married, separated, or divorced Eagle River Counseling requires the consent of both parents, regardless of legal custody status, to provide therapy to a minor. Exceptions will be made on an individual basis for clinical reasons or with a court order signed by a judge.
Group therapy is covered by many insurances.
Group therapy involves meeting together with the therapist and other clients who are seeking help with the same challenges in their lives.
Family therapy is covered by many insurances.
Family therapy includes two or more family members working together with the therapist to resolve family dynamic issues.
Individual therapy is covered by most insurances, depending on clinical need and/or diagnosis. Most sessions are 45-50 minutes.

Co-parent facilitation is no longer provided at Eagle River Counseling, but a referral can be made to an appropriate provider who is skilled in working with families with this type of conflict. Consultation for therapists wanting to learn to work with high-conflict custody disputes is also available.
Eagle River Counseling is an in-network provider with Aetna, Multiplan, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Other insurances are also accepted and billed for you.
